The new Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) was endorsed by the National Quality Council on 5 May 2010 and is not significantly different from the TAA40104, with many units being directly equivalent and others substantially so. The repackaging process has focussed on presenting shorter, simplified user friendly units of competency which are no less comprehensive.

We will make the new TAE10 available as soon as this has been added to our scope. This new qualification will replace the current TAA40104. Please be advised that the TAA40104 will continue to be offered in a manner that will enable a speedy transfer to the new TAE10 in compliance with the AQTF at a minimal cost.

Individual holders of a TAA40104 certificate that includes the TAADEL402B unit of study, will be able to automatically transfer to the new TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in the near future by meeting RPL evidence requirements of currency at a minimal cost. Further details will be provided once this service becomes available.

Individuals holding a BSZ98 certificate with the required evidence of currency are advised to upgrade to the TAA40104 prior to 1 May 2011 to enable them to also benefit from this automatic transfer opportunity.
