TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment replaces the TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This course is designed to meet the training and assessment needs of individuals, training organisation's, and industry. This course provides VET Trainers, Human Resource Personnel and Training Facilitators with a sound foundation for training design, development, and delivery, and enables them to promote a positive learning environment and improve professionalism within the VET and training sector.
The Certificate is recognised by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) as the benchmark qualification for Competency Based Assessment and Workplace Training in Australia.

TAA40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
The TAA40110 Upgrade Program provides the opportunity for individuals to upgrade to the new qualification. Participants must be able to demonstrate competence or hold existing qualifications or partial qualifications in BSZ40198 Cert.IV in Workplace Training and Assessment. BSZ40198 had 8 units: BSZ401 to BSZ408.
- The upgrade process must be completed within 12 months from the application date.
The following must be supplied:
- A photocopied 'Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training' BSZ40198 (showing the 8 BSZ units) must be certified by a Justice of the Peace to confirm it is a true copy of the original.
- A letter of currency from your employer.
- A letter from yourself stating what you are submitting is true and correct.
